1 Couriers and Shipping Rates

For the nationwide shipping within Italy of our products, Gruppo Caro srl primarily uses a private courier and the postal service. Costs are calculated and vary based on the carrier selected during order processing and on the rate brackets for the total gross weight of the products added to the cart: ORDERS WILL BE FULFILLED WITHIN 7 BUSINESS DAYS!

To ensure full and proper transparency for users, below we list the shipping rates according to the rate brackets of the chosen carrier.


 

SHIPPING COSTS — Poste Italiane (based on the weight of the ordered products)

  • 0-20kg cost -> €18,90 incl. VAT

 

SHIPPING COSTS — Passalacqua Trasporti (based on the weight of the ordered products)

  • 20.01-70Kg cost -> €28,00 incl. VAT;
  • 70.01-150Kg cost -> €54,90 incl. VAT;
  • 150.01-300Kg cost -> €75,60 incl. VAT;
  • 300.01-650Kg cost -> €140,00 incl. VAT;
  • 650.01-1.000Kg cost -> €158,60 incl. VAT;
  • 1.000,01-10.000Kg cost  -> €500,60 incl. VAT;
  • beyond 10,000Kg cost  -> €1.000,00 incl. VAT;

 

N.B. All Shipping Costs will be Waived (free) for Orders Over €259,00

2 Shipping of purchased products

The agri-food products purchased through the website will be shipped to the address indicated by the User at the time of purchase. Upon receipt of the products, the User must verify that the number of parcels delivered matches the number shown on the carrier’s waybill and that the packaging is intact, shows no signs of tampering, and is not damaged. If there is any discrepancy between what was ordered and what was delivered, or if the User detects anomalies in the packaging, they must not sign the delivery note and must lodge the claim directly with the carrier. Otherwise, the User will no longer be able to raise any objection regarding the external condition of what has been delivered or its conformity with the order. All orders received will be processed within 7 business days following confirmation and settlement of payment, except during the summer, Christmas and year-end closure periods, which will be announced on the homepage.

Please note that if no parcel has been delivered within 5 business days after the shipping confirmation email, we ask that you contact us by email or phone as soon as possible for prompt assistance.

3 Shipping Methods

The products purchased through the website will be packaged with the utmost care and shipped, at your choice, via the courier TDF-Service or Poste Italiane, using the methods indicated during order processing; costs may vary depending on the chosen method and the total gross weight of the products in the cart.

Gruppo Caro reserves the right [at its discretion] to always insure the package; should it be lost or returned, we will arrange to resend the parcel at no additional cost to the purchaser or, if appropriate, to ship via a different carrier.
